Ted Stevens Died In Plane Crash Dillingham, Alaska. He is the former Republican United States Senator of Alaska. Flight was crashed 325 miles outside of Anchorage. 9 people were on the flight including former Republican Senator Ted Stevens, according to the FAA 8 (Federal Aviation Administration).
Search parties have been sent to the scene of the crash and the story is still developing. Ted Stevens did not survive the crash.
No names of those who died in the crash or who survived have been released by officials.
He was the transport pilot during WORLD WAR II. He lost his seat after convicted of corruption charges whereas charges were removed in April 2009 due to misconduct by prosecutors.
Also on board was former NASA administrator Sean O'Keefe, according to his current employer EADS North America.
