Day Of First World War breaks out 28 July 1914 | First World War Remembrance Day


 On 28 June 1914, Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian-Serb student and member of Young Bosnia, assassinated the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in Sarajevo, Bosnia.

The First World War (for the contemporary World War) was the conflict began July 28, 1914 with the declaration of war on Serbia following the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand, heir to the throne of Austria, made in Sarajevo (Bosnia Herzegovina), June 28, 1914.

Bosnian Serb nationalist Gavrilo Princip was the bomber , a student affiliated with the Black Hand. The conflict ended more than four years later, on 11 November 1918, with the surrender of Germany.
